The Witches of Eastwick is a 1987 American horror comedy movie based on John Updike's novel of the same name. Set in the fictional Rhode Island town of Eastwick in the late 1960s, the movie follows the witches Alexandra Spofford, Jane Smart, and Sukie Rougemont, who acquired their powers after leaving or being left by their husbands. Their desires for a super male go a little off target when Darryl Van Horne arrives with a devilish charm and no finesse. Directed by George Miller, the movie stars Jack Nicholson as Daryl Van Horne with Cher, Susan Sarandon, and Michelle Pfeiffer as the Witches.

The Stepford Wives.
The Stepford Wives is a 1975 science fiction, thriller movie based on the 1972 Ira Levin novel of the same name. It was directed by Bryan Forbes. The movie stars Katharine Ross and Paula Prentiss as the two normal females faced with very strange female neighbours. The film was remade in 2004 under the same name, but was written as a comedy.

Romeo And Juliet.
Rome + Juliet 1996 movie based on William Shakespear's popular play directed by Baz Luhrmann and staring Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes as Romeo and Juliet. The movie retains the original Shakespearean dialogue, the Montagues and the Capulets are represented as warring business empires and swords are replaced by guns which are manufactured by the company Sword. Most of the movie was shot in Mexico City and Veracruz parts of the movie were shot in Miami.
At the 51st BAFTA Film Awards, director Baz Luhrmann won Best Direction. Baz Luhrmann and Mary Haile won the Best Adapted Screenplay. Nellee Hooper won the Best Film Music. And Catherine Martin won the Best Production Design. The film was also nominated for Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Sound.
